            The upgrade will introduce digital capabilities including

           . Secure ID verification and electronic signatures will support a seamless online experience.

         After a 2 month project Croydon Caribbean Credit Union have gone live on FOCUS CUVision - the new fully digital hybrid banking platform from e-CFS. The community based credit union based in Croydon evaluated the options in the market and selected CUVision and e-CFS as the best partners to move the credit union on to it's next stage of development.
         &#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
        
            The implementation of the core platform has been completed with  the transfer of data and training undertake in person and via Zoom. Staff have been delighted with the ease of use of the system and the extensive facilities available to them.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
        
            The next stage of development is the launch of the e-Web Online Banking Solution which will provide members with access to their accounts via the web.

      &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;

            A number of credit unions are actively considering the move to the CUVision platform over the coming months.

         Mendip Credit Union, based in the county of Somerset, has embarked on a project to migrate their BACUS credit union solution to The Cloud to improve service availability throughout the county. Based in Glastonbury, the credit union has been providing services to it's members through office, phone, post and collection points. With the Covid-19 restrictions, collection points have been closed and the credit union has been faced with challenges to maintain services.  As part of it's development the credit union has decided to operate The Cloud version of BACUS enabling better access for staff and volunteers to the system for service provision.
         &#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
          e-CFS has been commissioned to implement a cloud based BACUS solution for the credit union to operate on throughout the county. A secure server in the UK e-CFS hosting centre has been established to provide the service and is currently undergoing trials  before going live in February 2021.
         &#xD;

  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;

          The credit union are delighted to have access from multiple locations in the county facilitating better services for members.

           A new Email Statements Module has been added to the CUVision Hybrid Banking Platform.

    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;

          The new module facilitates one touch emailing of statements to members. If the member is on the phone or at the front counter or in an interview room, staff can instantly email them a statement with the push of a button. The fully up-to-date statement will be emailed to the member immediately.

  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;

           After a 8 week project, Sion Mills Credit Union went live on CUVision on 1st October 2020. Sion Mills joins a user base of 80+ credit unions ensuring a bright future for the credit union.
          &#xD;

  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           After a smooth migration of 26 years data, the credit union moved to the new platform - all it's data intact and ready to face into a new financial year with renewed confidence.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

           e-CFS handled the project from start to finish. With the authorisation of the credit union, data was migrated and balanced to the penny ! Transaction history from 1994 to 2020 was transferred - nearly a million records.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

           No support from the supplier Intuity was required during the project saving the credit union time and money.
          &#xD;

    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

           Comprehensive onsite training was provided ensuring the staff were well prepared for the changeover
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

           As part of the project, e-CFS replaced the hardware in the credit union making further savings on the cost due to competitive pricing from e-CFS.
          &#xD;

    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

           The credit union ATM supplied by e-CFS was linked providing immediate access to funds for members.

      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

           e-CFS has successully migrated credit unions from all the major suppliers over the years. Recently e-CFS migrated an Oakwood system onto the CUVision platform with no problems occurring.

           Carlisle Credit Union were seeking a phased entry into the online world for its member to ensure the credit union could cope operationally and financially with the “new normal” - Online Services. 
          &#xD;

  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
          After engaging with the credit union and understanding the capacity of the organization and the budgets available, e-CFS came up with a strategy that allowed the credit union take a measured entry into the “new world”. Within strict budget constraints, e-CFS developed a low cost solution that allowed the credit union deliver online services in an economic and manageable manner via the e-CFS 3 Stage Plan. 
         &#xD;

          Stage 1— Online Forms 
         &#xD;

          Loan Application form developed to allow loan application details and attachment of documentation. Loan data emailed to credit union with copy of application emailed to member 
         &#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
          Stage 2—Manual Processing 
         &#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
          Loan application manually input to FOCUS system from email application from member. Attached documents are stored as part of the application 
         &#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
          Stage 3— Loan Agreement 
         &#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
          Subject to the loan being approved, the Loan Agreement is emailed to the member for signature and returned to the credit union by post or dropped in to the credit union 
         &#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;

    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
          These initial steps have been very successful and the credit union is now submitting plans to improve the services via Internet and Mobile banking services and the introduction of electronic signatures for loan applications.

           CUSOP provides an effective, efficient and cost-competitive technology-based payment infrastructure to Irish Credit Union’s, to enable credit union members avail of up-to-date payment methods.

    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;

           CUVision is fully integrated with CUSOP for payments.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

           Electronic Funds Transfer Facilities:

           The CUVision EFT functionality consists principally of two modules:
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;

      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;

           (i)	Credit Transfers
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;

           Members can directly transfer funds through the banking system by EFT to any account (which has a valid sort code / BBAN) in either N.I. or the UK. Such EFT transfers are completely automatic (i.e. no manual intervention is required) and take place on multiple occasions throughout all ‘banking days’.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           (ii)	Direct Debits
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Members can transfer funds into their Credit Union A/C from any account (which has a valid sort code / BBAN) in either N.I. the UK.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           In addition to allowing an incoming DD to be distributed over multiple accounts (e.g. members’ children) the CU will also be able to accept incoming DD Instructions enabling a member to pay bills etc. (normally from a special utility account).
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           The Pallas EFT module works in conjunction with the ILCU CUSOP Hub which, we believe, is the most cost-effective approach for the Credit Union.  
          &#xD;

           A 3 year journey delivers success for a credit union in the UK. Loans in the credit union had stagnated and had not grown for three years.
           &#xD;
      &lt;b&gt;&#xD;
        
            Bringing in CUVision Online Loans has enabled steady annual growth and as the figures show the credit union lent over a million last year up from £750k three years ago.
           &#xD;

            The online loans module enables all loan documentation to be stored in one place.

           This starts with the member’s application which is done from the comfort of their own homes at a time to suit themselves. It also means the credit union are open 24/7 and have a nice number of applications waiting for us on a Monday morning. 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           The applications are processed on CUVision Online Loans Worklfow and if agreed issue the agreement electronically to the members email and they accept this and send it back to us and then the loan is paid out. For those without access to a PC, Smartphone or Tablet, the credit union accept paper based applications and a staff members keys this onto CUVision Online Loans on behalf of the member. The credit union then print the agreement for the member to come back in and sign.
           &#xD;
      &lt;b&gt;&#xD;
        
            The benefits to us mean we have one place where all documents are stored, application, Credit Check, Bank Statement, Loan Officer Decision &amp;amp; Agreement Form. This enabled us to archive 16 filing cabinets of paper. 
           &#xD;
      &lt;/b&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;b&gt;&#xD;
        
            Loan decisioning is much quicker too.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/b&gt;&#xD;
      
           Many of our loans are turned around same day while small top up loans take less than five minutes to agree and issue the agreement.
           &#xD;
      &lt;b&gt;&#xD;
        
            Having all the documentation in one place makes life easier for our Supervisory Committee too and our Accountants have access to CUVision Online Loans so that they can easily audit us without being a present in the office.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/b&gt;&#xD;
      
           The one problem we found is that once you have the online presence you do get more poor quality applications as you are seen to be a new name in the marketplace. This does means that potentially your costs may increase due to the number of Credit Checks you carry out but this will vary depending on your risk appetite. This credit union is rather tight so their costs have increased however, the steady growth we have achieved would not have been possible without the introduction of CUVision Online Loans. The credit union were on target to achieve our 2019-20 target of £1,125,000 lending until the pandemic. The credit union will be around £40,000 short of that by end of April as we have seen a reduction in applications.
          &#xD;

           If you are looking to grow your loan book and don’t currently have an online presence the credit union would highly recommend introducing CUVision Online Loans. It has enabled us to move the business forward and become profitable. Members love it they no longer have to come in and queue for a form and it avoids those awkward situations whereby the member has had to make three visits to achieve a loan, once to apply, once to drop off statements and then finally to sign.

           Northern Irish credit union Sion Mills, having completed an evaluation of the current credit union offerings, has selected the CUVision system from e-CFS to replace their current ICECube solution from Intuity. 
          &#xD;

          After a detailed supplier evaluation the credit union decided that the new CUVision Hybrid Banking Platform will meet their needs into the future as the member organization builds on it’s deep roots in the community and it’s desire to meet the online challenges of the future. Michael Holland, Manager, Sion Mills Credit Union remarked "We compared CUVision to the other offerings in the market. CUVision has all the same capabilities as the competitor solutions and some significant advantages - in particular the online services for loans and membership offer significant opportunities for future growth.
